That's right! It's not just the answer to life, the universe and everything. It's also the amount of hours I've been awake (save a 45 minute session where I closed my eyes but didn't fall asleep).

DON'T PANIC

I see all these people with their "what would I look like on South Park?" images, which of course caused me to ask the same question. How about this?

This should be enough proof that Bush was the load that should've been swallowed.  What I'm pissed off even more about is that people still have the audacity to defend him even after video evidence shows he was told what could happen!

Yeah, I know, this isn’t late-breaking news anymore, but I also haven’t posted anything in a damn long time.

I'll tell you why this is bullshit after I study for my world religions class...
» Well, yeah, I like it, but I gotta move on...

Ok, I really want to go to UIC next fall, but can it happen?  This semester I am taking the final courses I need according to their syllabus, so I should be able to, right?  I guess I’m just a little flustered from the past couple of days…  I originally had this nice, pretty schedule worked out for this semester at Harper, but that pretty much fell apart.  You see, UIC requires 6 humanities and 6 social science hours.  I’ve done the 6 for social science and did them thinking I had an option between the two.  I was wrong.  Now I’m in a mad rush to get a reprint of my AP transcript from RMHS so I can get an interview with the chairman of the art department to see if I can test out of a humanities class.  As a contingency plan, I nearly had to get an overload approval for doing more than 18 credit hours because I now am taking 2 humanities courses at once.  Wanna see what my whole schedule looks like?  Well today’s your lucky day!

Monday/Wednesday: Physics 2, 6:30-9:30pm

Tuesday/Thursday: Religions of the World, 9:25-10:40am

Differential Equations, 10:50-12:05pm

Asian and African Humanities, 3:05-4:20pm

Tuesday: FORTRAN Programming, 6-10:30pm

Hopefully I’ll get out of one of the humanities courses with my art credit so I’d be down to a sane (almost slack-ish) 15 credit hours.  Actually, I take that back.  Both of the classes seem really cool and I would like to take both, but I would also like to keep my sanity.

I could relax and do one more semester at Harper, but as much as I like it, I really need to get a move on with my degree; I’m already a year behind!  I am so disappointed in myself and my lack of being able to keep an important document like that transcript.  Although, in this case, it didn’t really matter so much because the new one should be here in time for the evaluation, but still…

What the hell do I think I’m doing?

Well, I finally had the appointment with the psychiatrist today.  He was actually pretty cool to talk to.  But I must say the highlight of my day was the snow.  Yeah… it was fun crawling around my area for hours just to get to lab 30 minutes late to a group that was having technical difficulties.  I can’t believe I was able to do a 3rd gear launch!  Tomorrow I’m going to try 4th gear just to see if I can do it.  Oh, and the e-brake is fun as FUCK, also necessary in some instances when you need some form of stability in a hurry. On the plus side of things, Mike got a hold of me again! It's been a really long-ass time since I've talked to him (about 7 months) and I am really looking foward to catching up.  Now on to what everyone likes:  visual media.

» Oh c'mon! Since when is helping a friend hide a body a bad thing?!
Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Monday I gave [info]sweetcatastrofy a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). Last Thursday I helped [info]mrcloud hide a body (-173 points). In January I pulled over and changed [info]soccergreen19's flat tire (15 points). In September I gave [info]yuc6 a Dutch Oven (-10 points). In March I pushed [info]movingtoofast in the mud (-17 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-190 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!

Sincerely,

Sky died today.  I came home from work and sat by my computer.  I heard rustling coming from his cage so I went over and took a look.  He was on the floor, with his eyes half open, trying feebly to get up.  He was dead less than 3 minutes later.

I don't understand what happened.  Yesterday he was flying normally and being the typical pest my family came to know and love.  After taking his body to the vet, we came to the conclusion the respiratory infection he suffered earlier this year could've contributed to his demise.  However, at 8 years old, he still had a pretty damn good run.

I remember when Vicki gave him to me when I was 15.  He was 2 at the time and she had expertly trained him.  He couldn’t fly very well because he had his wings trimmed.  I can’t believe how many times he would leap off of a table thinking he could fly.  He would always sit behind my brother at the dinner table and try to eat his food.  I can't let this get the best of me this evening as I will be taking Jessica out for her 21st, but this will still be clawing at me like his tiny talons once did.  Even while writing this, I keep looking over at the other end of his desk where the cage was thinking I hear him jabbering or eating something…

I’m going to miss him.

Anyone else notice how the new Madonna song has the background music from ABBA's "Gimmie Gimmie Gimme"? Still, has a good rhythm...

In any case, midterms suck. Had the calc 3 one last night; I won't settle for less than a B in that class, but it probably won't happen. Physics in 4 hours; we'll have to see. Human Sexuality was a joke; 94% no prob. If I can keep up my current quality, I'm set for an A in English 2.

Dammit.

I feel ya man... )
